After completing this course, drivers will be able to:

  • Recognize when brake inspections are required.
  • Identify what to look for during a daily brake inspection.
  • Explain what to do if brake-system defects are discovered.

  • Be well versed in brake inspection procedures.
  • Look over your brake assembly.
  • Only adjust your brakes if you’re fully trained and qualified.

  • Document problems and make sure they get fixed.

PASS MARK

Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.
