  • Identify what to look for when inspecting brake hoses and tubing
  • Describe what to do if you find a problem with brake hoses or tubing

COURSE TOPICS

  • Introduction
  • Lost air pressure will cause brakes to fail.
  • Inspect your brake hoses and tubes every day.
  • Make sure tubes and hoses are free from damage.
  • Brake hoses should not chafe or rub against other hoses.
  • Pay special attention to tube and hose connections.
  • Be sure to report any problems you find.

Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.
