This Corrective Action Training: Basic Control course covers the following topics:

  • Introduction
  • Stay in control of your vehicle.
  • Keep both hands on the wheel.
  • Keep the vehicle in gear.
  • Don’t use cruise control when split-second decisions need to me made.
  • Perform an effective visual search.
  • Non-driving activities degrade your visual search.
  • If your visual search is ineffective, correct it immediately.
  • Respond appropriately when a hazard appears.
